Some people buy earlier eg in 2014 and then the price dropped so you have to time it well to get the best deals.

But of course, if you have deep pockets, then this small increment matter less to you from an investment point of view since EC supply running out.

Launch price and unit choices cannot compare with what's leftover now.

unlikely for EC price to drop as the govt did not release much land to build EC going forward.

There is only one EC (Rivercove) coming up in 2018 and it is expected to sell out fast even at high psf.

Northwave has the lowest psf among all available ECs. Price are as low as $735 psf which is the price of Woodlands EC as far back as 2009. Price of condo may rocket again in 2018 onwards.

Quality is better this time round. Hao Yuan has learnt and have came out with better quality product this time.

Ec will always sell because it is currently at a large gap of about 20% when compared to private condo price in the same district. EC is always sold at a discount to PC and yet it can sell to PR in 5 years and will attain full condo status in 10 years.

In August 2017, there are only 928 launched and unsold EC units left. In the past 12 months, developers sold an average of 368 units monthly. Currently only 400+ units left. At this rate of sales, the developers' inventory of launched and unsold EC units could be fully exhausted before this Christmas if no new EC units are released for sale.

By Xmas or cny, all ec may sell out.

I agree especially with ECs nearing TOP and with limited EC supply. Plus alot of newer hdbs have fulfilled MOP and introduce more eligible EC buyers. Some may consider EC to upgrade.

If it’s such a good development by all means get all your friends and relatives to go buy.

Forestville. Reviews 4.4/5. Not that bad. Of course not the most highly-rated one. At least now, they have more experiences to take on new projects.
