Can’t even afford a EC ?
這麼多風涼話 ? :o
Boys should have more ambitious . So sad.
At least better home / a bit more wealth make your family live better .

Some couples even stay childless that they can accumulate a few millions for themselves.

Had wanted to buy an EC years back but income ceiling too high can’t buy no choice...2 years ago got retrenched ( never work till now)income ceiling came down so can buy Lor...
Think of it if a few years back if I spent millions to buy a private property or landed I will be stupid hahah... at least now I can save up the money don’t need to work for years and wait for the current EC to let me earn extra cash after 5 yrs...

Your delay & hesitancy last year would cost
you easily >5-10% or even >20% later.

The developers have hiked the price of unsold units of most ECs & condo which they launched 2-3 years ago.

Buying those now = lousy units + higher priced.
These would be the issue you would face when renting or selling later.
Many of your condo owners would offer better
terms than you.

For utilities account, do we need to set up prior to collecting of keys?

I did not set up any utilities account. Not that i know of. so should not be a requirement. just make a cheque payment for 6 months management fees and survery fees.

As it takes a few days to activate the account, it's good u do it online and meet with the SP ppl on the key collection date so that u can always check on the electricity and power on the day itself.

Do share with us how’s the defect found in your unit if any.. heard that some units suffered from cracked wall both interior and exterior... flooring also not very well done...
