Hi guys, first-timer here looking to buy a 2room.Considering either Signature or Criterion but seems like Signature is cheaper. Any reasons why you guys chose Criterion over Signature and roughly how much 2room cost in Criterion? Appreciate it!

Don't think CDL give any discount. Based on the transacted price posted in URA, no discount too.

Hello. I choose criterion over signature mainly is because of developer and design. Signature gives me a more retro feel and criterion feels more modern. For discount my agent say very unlikely if not it will be very unfair for existing buyers. If developer gives discount they must make sure they satisfy both existing and new customer

Hi, decided on Criterion for my upgrade & quite heartening to know that many of us think alike in terms of quality furnishing provided by CDL as well as being a renown developer working with a sound record main contractor (Nakano). I'm trying to gather some opinions from buyers here. If there are 3 generations living under the same roof (6 person - parents, ourselves & teenager), would you go for a 4bdrm premium or 5 bdrm? If choose 4bdrm premium over 5 bdrm, would you hack away the toilet in junior suite and convert to a study room? Appreciate your inputs.

If $ is not a concern, i would chose 5 bdrm.
If chose 4bdrm premium, i won't hack away the toilet in the junior suite. With 6 person and 4 bdrms,
1) Master bdrm - yourself and wife/hb
2) Junior suite - your parent (privacy for them with the junior bath)
3) Bdrm 3 & 4 - teenagers

But Bdrm 4 will be very small for the teenager. It will be ideal as a study instead. So 5 Bdrm is still the best option for you.

Thanks Tokidoki. Dilemma for us cos to be honest 4 bdrm premium is comfortable for us in terms of financing the loan. 5 bdrm is a little stretch (even though it could be done). We didn't want to over commit. Thinking of the long term on selling it X years down the road, 5 bdrm would be quite tough to sell to buyers, unless they decided to have 3 generations staying under the same roof/have that many children staying with them. In addition, clubhouse is kind of right smack beneath stack 1 (5 bdrm) which might be a little noisy? We wanted the stacks facing reservoir view yet 5 bdrm is pool view. Don't seem to be able to get the best of both worlds...

Yes, 5 bedrooms will be quite difficult to let go as there is limited buyer. So better to get a 4 bedroom premium. Financial aspect will be more comfortable too.

i bought it after going around a few EC before deciding on this one as this layout suits more than the rest of the other EC . And we love to stay in Ulu place like this cos it might be quieter than the most EC

Are you currently staying in North side too?

The Criterion is the only showflat i visited. My mum went to view it first and tells me the layout is quite reasonable. Ask me go take a look. Govt up the income cap just in time for me to make this purchase and HDB approves my appeal too.

im currently staying in sengkang and my office is at ubi area so i find that its not too bad and also did you not fancy signature?
