This note 8 is also a "rush" product.
Still say wanna take own sweet time to make sure QC no problem.
In the end Aug keynote and before early to mid sept release.
Those who kena note 7 saga and still buy this on day one release u are truly Samsung fan boy supporter.
You obviously do not understand how products are being made or the timeline of efficient product generation. Production does not start exactly after keynotes/announcements... Companies do not do that, products are already final, tested and in production quite a duration before announcements. In-fact, the designing and sourcing for parts for the future S9 and Note may have already started. In-fact I can strongly believe FW testing is on going right now in Samsung HQ in korea with at least afew test/show-room/pre-live production models already in SG office. The Note 8 in parts somewhere in an assembly factory as the parts are already final and produced for assembly awhile ago.
Then why did the Note 7 thing happen? Cause they were pushing boundaries in battery tech a little too far that the people making the batteries might have created it in a sub-optimized assembly process that created variations of tension and exposed electrodes due to insufficient insulation tape. Battery tech is our limiting factor at the moment, there is still no good way to push so much power into smaller and slimmer factors.
