Last time people who preorder older Note, is it pay the money on the day you preorder or pay on the day you collect phone?
What happens if you do not collect phone?
After preorder already, is it possible to cancel order ?

Based on previous preorders, if you order via SES or major electronics chain, there will be a $50 deposit which will be forfeited in the event you decided not to buy on launch day.

Whereas online like lazada, hachi, courts etc, the payment via credit card is upfront. Cancellation policy dependent on TnCs, your best bet might be lazada in the event you want to cancel prior to ship or return after receiving.

What is SES?

"Whereas online like lazada, hachi, courts etc, the payment via credit card is upfront." > This sentence do you mean pay the $50 or pay the whole phone $1xxx price?

Why lazada is better in the event you want to cancel prior to ship or return after receiving? No cancellation fee?

Thanks.

I preordered S8 for my kid but via M1 re-contract.. no upfront cash. Pay after you collect phone.. I am thinking of doing the same for N8.. Both my wife and I contract ended

The Note 8 has been registered in SG.

A search on the model number reflects that it is the Note 8 and should come with dual sim.

Normally 3 months prior to contract end you can recontract. Go check with your telco. I'm from Singtel, Sept expire but by june i can recontract with no penalty le. They do this so while under contract, you won't run horse to another telco lol.

Technically you can recontract anytime but penalty will impose if you still have less than 20 months. If more than 20 months no penalty. .I m referring to my M1 contract but I think it is all the same for telcos..
