anyone encountered any issue when claiming for warranty based on qoo10 receipt?

i asked samsung and they say qoo10 not their authorised reseller, so warranty will be based on manufacturing date.
so even shop post as 1 yr local warranty, it is still based on manufacturing date?

or i should register online thru app or something?

Hi folks, my wife was using her S-Pen and broke it in half while writing some notes .

First time (from Note 1 till 8) she broke an S-Pen. Anybody knows if warranty covers S-Pen?

Thanks!!!

Wah furiously writing away ah. I don’t think a physically broken pen can be covered. Also I’m trying to picture how can one break a pen while writing. Sounds difficult unintentionally but very possible intentionally

She must be very angry with you to hold it so tight. If you have the spen from note7 it should work fine, else get it from ebay

Did a search and realized a lot of people had the pen break in exactly the same spot as my Wife's.

I really have to consider if future Note series makes sense anymore. It seems to me Samsung wanted to recover some losses from Note 7.

that's a logical spot

Never had any issues from Note 1 until Note 8. I think it's not a coincidence when so many people broke their Note 8 Spen in exactly the same spot.

Disappointed with Samsung.
