I replaced my battery at some China repair shop on Level 3 of SLS, $40, some compatible battery... not quite as lasting as the original battery... drop too fast... still need to charge mid-day...

I think it is not worth getting it replaced with chiong battery. Afraid it will have some consequences. Rather you get it replaced with samsung original battery, safer and with IP68 rating. Changing chiong battery at SLS no more IP rating

Ha ha... the IP rating not so important to me... I don't use the phone much outside... anyway the phone is coming to 4 years old already... so about time to change already... I'm just trying to hold off changing it since it's still very good... with the new battery, it's pretty ok now... suspect battery life not as good cos TraceTogether is on... but can still last one day of work even with intensive Whatsapp use... I'm seeing if it can last 5 or 6 years... right now, nothing on the market really attractive... plus any new Note shoe from Samsung is in excess of $1200, a bit crazy...

Some of the Samsung models cost really madness. I recalled when launched note 9. It was about $1300++

One of those shops near the escalator on level 3 in SLS... search higher up this thread. I posted my experience... yes battery life definitely much better lar... won't drain to 15% by mid day... my TraceTogether is on 24/7... usually on wifi at workplace and at home... seldom on 4G networks... I drive so I don't use phone at all during my commutes to work and to home... use a lot of Whatsapp mainly... surf internet a bit... no videos at all... no streaming or local files... usually will start the day early at 100% and by the time I get home by around 5+ pm, about 20-30% left lor... sometimes a bit more at 40%... really depends on how intensely I use Whatsapp... no social media at all... cos I don't use them...

this phone is really lasting. using it actively nowadays. battery 2 yrs old already but still quite ok. usually charge to around 80% only to prolong the battery life.

Thanks a lot. Theres no uninstall button for google webview in play store. Tried "uninstall" google chrome and it worked. Seems like Google apps cant be uninstall as the app is still there.
