Just played the demo @ starhub toa payoh. The phone is narrower but taller than J7 pro. The weight is heavier than S8 plus for sure lol.

$1398 is simply insane for Android devices. Market price should be around $1290 when it release on 15 Sep. Just wait for two to three months if u r not in the hurry and soon it will be below 1K.

It will be more attractive if they can offer wireless charger + 64GB memory card.

The wireless charger can get for less than $40 on Qoo. 256gb microsd card around around $110.

Seriously, they give wireless charger+256gb+Dex than can justify the 1.4k price tag.

on the surface, i'm already "4 gens" behind.
but the reason i can use so long is cos of the removeable battery. bought a new batt 1yr+ ago and extended its lifespan till now.

Just my analysis on the price since I am getting as well.

If I were to pre-order from lazada, I might be able to use a $30 voucher, bringing down the price to $1368. Furthermore if I use standard Chartered singpost card, I can get $60 rebates. Since I am a live up member, I will get 5% rebate, capped at $50 for my next purchase

I can possibly get the phone after rebates at around $1258 no contract

Including the $100 accessories voucher (can get a case and maybe powerbank?) and Dex, I think it's a pretty ok deal there.

If you wait a few months out, definitely will drop in price but I'll say not by much, after all the gifts and the early ownership do outweigh that extra I am paying
