Hmm ok, but it's still a trade in deal depending on the value of your current phone? Not all phones will fetch the $425 max amount

From what I understand, the discount is applicable to former owners of n7. The trade in didn't mention any model of specific value. You can probably trade in your old nokia phone and still eligible for the discount.

Their intention is to reward former n7 owners.

Depending on the demand and supplies. Give it about 3 months time and I am pretty sure the street price will be more reasonable(1K and below). Apple has the entire ecosystem by its own and u have to play by their rules if u are using their products. That is one of the main reason why Apple can remain top in smart phone. It's another story for Android (open platform).

It's just a register of interest.
This is not a confirmation of buying the phone.

End September is which month of contract? Less than 21 month? 21 month or more already?

Usually re-contract no need to pay extra fee on phones from 21st month onwards, or depend on the Term & Conditions of the contract you signed (may not need to be 21st month)
