Just my analysis on the price since I am getting as well.

If I were to pre-order from lazada, I might be able to use a $30 voucher, bringing down the price to $1368. Furthermore if I use standard Chartered singpost card, I can get $60 rebates. Since I am a live up member, I will get 5% rebate, capped at $50 for my next purchase

I can possibly get the phone after rebates at around $1258 no contract

Including the $100 accessories voucher (can get a case and maybe powerbank?) and Dex, I think it's a pretty ok deal there.

If you wait a few months out, definitely will drop in price but I'll say not by much, after all the gifts and the early ownership do outweigh that extra I am paying

wait for price drop then buy at qoo10 mobile store and use $100 discount coupon plus qpoints as well as gift cards. can use shopback and rebates for further discount.

samsung case and powerbank are marked up alot so its not really worth.

The difference is minimal. SD has been known for better performance in graphics, Exynos is known for Battery savings.

Day to day you might not notice the difference.

I'm getting it despite its absurd price and impracticality of the free gifts. Been using Redmi 4 for 5 months as my Note 5 died and boy how I miss having a good camera! I'll most likely purchase a 256gb memory card seperately since I go on holidays pretty frequent and thus prefer my GoPro videos to be on my phone for quicker edits/share on social media

Just played the demo @ starhub toa payoh. The phone is narrower but taller than J7 pro. The weight is heavier than S8 plus for sure lol.

Ya it's very tall. When I hold the phone, only the bottom half of the phone is firmly in my hand. Haha feels weird. But the centre of gravity is still ok. It doesn't feel like the phone's top-heavy. But it's nonetheless protruding out quite a bit at the top.
