A warm welcome to all Intel LGA2011 people - yes, all are welcome regardless of colour (Black or Blue Edition also can!), cores, stepping or model. Definitely kind of strange that a hardware forum like this still does not have a LGA2011 club so here it is.

Today the time has come... the wait is finally over.

Time to set aside my old C1 and got my 2nd 3930K chip (of course a C2) today along with other new toys from SLS. Since I was the early bird, I had a fine time choosing my pick from the whole lot seen here.

Good batch? The much sought after Malaysian L-B chips..

Chopped and double confirmed C2 batch with the SR0KY label
- go get them before this small batch is gone!

More to come once I can finish up with the Llano 3870K, hopefully by this weekend. Meanwhile, all LGA2011 people pls feel free to post in this thread and strut your stuff.

Tried very hard liao to make the thread title as innocuous and all inclusive as possible, Club Elite just sounds too... elitist and divisive!

Anyway, possibly unable to finish off with the Llano 3870K this weekend, just received news that my scheduled stuff was missed out while no news of the other incoming components as well... grr.

Oh well, now thinking whether to just swap back to this new 3930K on the test rig and forget about the Llano altogether.

Actually this thread is also to inform that the C2 3930K is finally in SLS liao, delay no thanks to the bumbling Intel of today. What else are they going to cock up next?

L150B is just 1 week later batch than L149B which is not bad liao considering that SG received their C2 chips so late in the game. Today is already almost 1 month since that xs thread was created ie. 4 weeks later.

....not easy to kill cpu on air coz it will auto shut down to prevent damage.....but different story when under LN2
