Offset -0.01V LLC3
- seems OK with 1.288V load though my block remount seems to have made temps worse... haizzz

Offset -0.01V LLC3 can survive 15 mins of P95 Blend but can't survive even 5 mins of DVDFab transcoding... crashed into the blue blue world of Taipei 101 BSOD. lol

Running at +0.005V LLC3 = DVDFab pass (survived a few rips)

Retesting -0.005V with DVDFab soon, it's quite a good productive stress tester.
Update - -0.005V LLC3 also no go, BSOD 101

Getting the 3930k by end of this mth. Not that rich but just want a rig that could last me longer. Plan for an asus pro broad. Never follow up on pc so much, not sure to oc or not. Going with water cooling, ordered tj11. Temp use back 5670 n wait for 7990. S/c n speaker, see how first. Will type full spec which i have in mind when using desktop later as now using tab. Ha ha!

Also suggest going straight to higher end water cooling if you have any intention of o'cing any of the 6 core SB-E chips.

what I have in mind.

Rasa 750 RX360 WaterCooling Kit | XSPC

Specs which I got in mind.

CPU - 3930k
RAM - G.Skill RipJaw 16GB 2133Mhz
HDD - 240GB SSD. Use back WD 2TB Black.
GPU - Used current 5670, wait for 7990. Dont like CF 7970.
Monitor - LG E2350V. Either go for 2 x IPS235 or Dell series when got 7990.
PSU - Silverstone 1KW.
Casing - TJ11.
S/C n Speaker - Use back current first. X-fi n 3800 speakers.
Optical Storage - Sony 24x, use back another current 1. The other spoilt but newer (angry)
OS - Win7 64 bits.
Cooling - RX360 (hopes can support LGA 2011)
Ext HDD - 2TB WD (current own)
Router - Asus NT16 (current own)

Now wait for my area to have fibre, I then buy wall plug as the route to my study room not that ideal for the wire to be. I will put my router n modem in the hall, use wall plug to link to main PC. Hopes this configuration will last me another 6 to 7 yrs or more. haha!

btw iirc from reading the ROG forums, the ability to do Offset Vcore setting and EIST/C1E is lost when doing bus clocking apparently due to the way Intel implemented the VID detection. So voltages remain high even when idle.

Pls check the content if the package already include LGA2011 adapter. I think the later batch should have included.....but not idea of how 'later' is later'......

Swapped out the Extreme9 bundled Creative card for another Creative card, a sample X-Fi PCI-e rare model from Mr. R (thanks again!) from long long ago. Now tinkering around with all the sound effects while enjoying the Beatles Love album - simply shiok!

Installed the X-Fi x1 card in the 1st x16 slot, between the HIS HD 6950 video card (2nd slot) and the CPU - definitely less restrictive placement than the bundled card.

Update:

TJ11 in my hse, pocket one big hole! Nvm, it's really worth. Never take note of the card holder, still use old methods (screws), a bit disappointed. But the 2 massive 180mm fans, scare my PC-70 casing front fan(will convert the casing into a housing for router/modem), haha! The casing comes with a aluminium mouse pad, COOL!

Next, cooling kit. Email the owner. Got an reply, new batch coming late next wkend. So, I mostly can get the system around 21st march. Hopes they can deliver the kit on 20th else it will be another wk of waiting....

Hopes I can OC to 4.5Ghz or more since I using water cooling. Will update with photos of my rig once done (except graphic not change.)

The extreme9 sound card can only work in the pci-x1 slot on the extreme9? I tried other slots all got light but no sound.

If rx480, psu got to mount vertical. But kits dont have 480, unless individual.

I got to get a cage if I couldnt make use of the supplied 3.5" HDD if I make space for my RAD. I will try to mount it on the 5.25" bays and see how things turn out to be.

Forget to mention mobo. Asus extreme, pro or deluxe? Set my target on deluxe but think again, pro suits me just nice. See how 1st.

Now thinking of adding a low range card for cf. Current is 5670, add another 56xx, maybe get a decent fps during some games. If can get avg 30-40 for normal setting, wait for pci-e 3 dual gpu card???
