Not sure about Toa Payoh, but Bishan Junction 8 has BHG, so they should have stock of Nerf blasters there.

hey guys , i just got interested in this nerf hobby.

seen the longshot in action - very interesting

am just curious. They have models which are similar but with slight variation in the packaging (ie:different scope or paint scheme)

so which is better or recommended?

i'll start out with a longshot first but i intend to get the others but i don't wanna be buying blindly.

Hi All,

Some pictures of my Nerf guns. All of them are painted black except for one of my white tiger/snow camo longshots!

Longshot currently selling at Metro Senkang at $79.90. Still got around 20 boxes left, together with nite finder, cross/strikefire and dart tag sets.

You're absolutely right, the Longshot isn't that effective as a stock nerf blaster, but luckly its the coolest looking!

ermmm...it was available in every place i went to except the Taka toy fair (Nerf shelf was completely cleaned out) :

* Toys'R'Us Tampines
* BHG Bugis
* OG Bugis
* Robinsons Raffles City
* Toys'R'Us Suntec

i don't stay/work anywhere near Hougang or Sengkang, so i can't say on availability in those places.

omg how did you get those???...

I got the gamestop Mavericks from eBay auctions, had to really bid aggressively for them. They cleared customs easily just like any nerf blaster.

Btw, i see a few more sets avaliable on eBay, can try bidding for them.

Yeah, that version is very rare, one of the vintage nerf range from back in 1995. I had one of those before, along with the classic Nerf Bow N' Arrow.

Imho, it'll be much easier (and cheaper) to get the new crossbow version.

Btw, i tested the clear Mavericks and they seem to have the same firing power as normal Mavericks, so I guess they are quite usable. Anyways, i wouldn't be using these limited edition collector's items, i just test them to make sure they're working. These clear Mavericks are heading straight to the glass cabinet for permanent display.

Yup, my eBay seller actually wrote "Nerf Guns" in the mail package description (would have been best if he had written "Nerf Toys" instead), but my package still cleared without any issue, so i guess the customs staff already know that these are just toys and gifts.
