buzz bee has some bad reviews for their material which is used to make their guns.

Often, the plastic cracks and either one barrel or none are usable.

So must take caution

Kev: Thanks for the info! But according to sgnerf abit too late haha :D btw whats 'figure-15?'

Running around town this weekend, I saw plenty of Mavs and Nitefinders. should have not much of a problem getting those.

Timonsim: TRU VIVO has your buzz bee stuff. the shotgun thing and the tiny bazooka thing. was there on new year's day. as for prices im not too sure though.
No prob....anyway, just a mild update to all: Bugis BHC just stock up plenty of Maverick. Did a rough count n there is at least a good 20+ box of it....sadly didnt saw any Recon or Longshot.
'Figure 15' is a target board we shoot during NS live-firing....dun know still in use or not though...it been quite sometime since i step into a firing range.

Buzz bee RFR range totally suxs ... its like half the range of a stock maverick, jams easily unless u cock the cocking handle hard and fast.

Other then tat like wad sgnerf said, its fun to hear ur empty shells hitting the floor ~ tink tink tinkkk ... =D

ok i know i have'nt posted in a while but i HAVE been reading this thread for awhile but have'nt really found a reason to post so here goes
buzz bee is no way using lousy construction materials for guns
you wanna see lousy,go search "Lanard" the firing pin they use is made of plastic, unlike unlike the metal they use in buzz bee

Sorry, only the buzz bee double shot and tommy mech 20 are having problems, no problems with the rapid fire yet.

Tommy mech 20 - Jams a lot, breakes down easily
double shot - One barrel often wears down fast, jams easily if darts are in poor condition (happens to nerf too)

still looking for a RF 20....looks and shoots damn cool.

Anyway, wad side arm would be recommended, to compliment a Longshot?
looking for something mid mid range and a good load of bullets.

Maverick?

also, i am looking at longshot refill clips; being sold at USD$30+ for 3? is there anywhere with a better deal?

one last question: been seeing alot of talk on the Tech target. Being a single shot, why is it being revered as a good side arm?

Yup, a Maverick would be a good "last stand" sidearm, its relatively compact and yet its 6 shot barrel could be fired quickly with some practice.

Of course, if you can get your hands on a MagStrike or Rapid Fire 20 (yes, Jusco still got stock), even better!

But if you do get those full-auto blasters, then its a whole different level altogether... you'll probably end up using them for all your nerf games, 'cos most people quickly discover that single-shot blasters are alot less practical when compared to full-auto nerf blasters in fast-paced Nerf skirmish games.

You might have read the other nerf forums talking about stuff like the tech target. From my experience, do take whatever they post with a pinch of salt (especially on nerfhaven forums!). In all aspects, the tech target set is basically just a retro-design nitefinder with a blinky electronic target board. :D

For spare Longshot clips, no choice... still have to order from the states. USD$30 is abit too expensive for a 3 clip pack, it was avaliable online at hasbrotoyshop.com for just USD$13.99 per 3 clip pack (out of stock at the moment though), probably have to wait until they're back in stock.

Btw, if any of you are ordering nerf items from the hasbro website, key in "NERF2009" in the promo code box before order confirmation and get an additional 10% discount. :)

i've been monitoring this thread for quite some time.....first of all..i would like to thank sg-nerf for putting the vulcan as his display pic if not i wouldnt have found NERF,second of all,i will try to update as many times as possible on nerf at metro, sengkang, compass point as my school is nearby

(PeiHua Sec,if any1 from there maybe can meet up make team)

oh and i've just started playing it 3 months ago and now have a team of nerfers consisting of 12 players ages ranging from 7 to 13....>.>small kids...well im 1 too(we have 2 bases lol...most of the time only around 8 come down..we are currently looking for enemies at our outpost, beside meridian primary school in pasir ris.i have intel of 2 teams, one of them consisting of a magstrike,a titan and some other guns, the other involves some random guns,i think its dart tag set guns..probably hyperfire.any1 wanting to join or declare war please come look for us,we can usually be found at the playground in brontosaurus park or near the playground at block 742 at around 5-7pm on weekdays

Just now i went to metro sengkang and saw 7 boxes of recons, roughly 13 boxes of longshots ,15 mavericks,7 nitefinders and around 40 mesh pouches full of tagger ammo...only 1 micro pack left...

i would like to thank SG-Nerf,Rebirthx,hiimajerk,sadiststephen,timonsim,nerfnerd,silentkill,dadeadman and every1 that have been actively monitoring this forum and anyone who have randomly and not so randomly have had any activity in this forum
