Many folks got that cancelation, for my case, it sent me a reply on cancellation request after shipping the product out..

Last night I charge my phone before sleep and today I woke up late because the phone's dead, I cant turn it on until I plug out the charger and just after that I can turn it on, full battery.

The alarm supposed to still be active even when it turned off right ? I'm late to office now.. jialat.. hopefully this is one time thing only.. >_<

was wondering if anybody can recommend any kernels to flash?
I've been getting data drops while surfing on mobile data. On wifi its ok.

Nope. Phone off, alarm won't ring. Android doesn't have phone on when alarm function.

Are you really sure that Iphone from power down state can trigger alarm on l:eek::eek::eek::eek:
I have yet to see smart phone with Hardware driven Alarm application that doesnt require the phone to be boot up and can display alarm on the complicated high density LCD..

All smart phone run with rich OS that required time to boot up and mostly Software Alarm app ...including IPhone...

Are you sure IOS has it? Why are you still using N4 then? I would suggest you to switch to IOS.

No offence though.:)

err.. it wasn't ? funny, I thought I turned off my iphone last time and the alarm is still active... or maybe I'm mistaken... lol..

oh well...

Sorry ah, iOS also dun have.

Last known Symbian has it. Blackberry has an option to switch on phone at specific time iirc, but not because of alarm. So in short, don't switch the phone off. Put to airplane mode is more than good enough for battery savings.

Sadly, this one is limitation of Android. Much older smartphones on dated OSes can do it just fine. Imho Symbian wasn't that much far from Android, it just had a lousy UI team working on it.
