but why need to power off your phone when you go to sleep? save power? just put the phone to sleep too. Your alarm will still work and it doesn't drain much power anyway unless there are bugs or rogue apps.

how about other 3rd party app ? or is it the same ?

iOS doesnt have it
most phones nowadays dont have it

Remember old nokia phones have it, because in the phone itself, there is a "running clock"
dont know the exact word but you can read it up

2nd that.. cause if phone is in deep sleep, it should not minus mroe than 5% after 8 hrs of idling..

Who worries about the battery depleting while you're sleeping? Doesn't everyone plug it in to charge while sleeping?

I do everynight :D but still once u unplugged it may have been discharging for a while.. maybe 95% when you wake up.. :s22:

touch wood. so far i have no issues with the vbattery and whatever problems some have highlighted here and XDA. will be keeping my fingers crossed.

The standby time for the phone is pretty good.

Last weekend i left the phone without charging and some minimal usage, the phone lasted more than 28 hours.

oh btw, wanted to ask. anyone seen your battery log show that your phone took up a large chunk of the battery? I seen it like 3 times on my n4... weird... and i didn't make a long phone call...

I encountered that for 3 times, whenever that happened, I can see fast pace battery drain, usually I will reset it and phone back to normal with average of 34-36 hours use time before battery flat at 15%

It said Nexus 4 will be sold by Harvey Norman at $496, don't know whether it's true or not, and hopefully it's S$496 lol :s12:

lol the Web page might be from Singapore but the article says 'Google nexus 4 returns to Australia via Harvey Norman'

price quoted is in Aussie dollars la, go convert then plus gst..
