good work swanpeach! i hope you get your new phone soon.

the second batches of nexus 4 are sent with two additional bumps below the phone to facilitate the previously covered speakers when placed downwards.

yes you most likely will receive a newer model :)

I think $35 is just one way trip SG to US and you still need to factor in US to sf. Maybe weiyang76 can confirm.

hello ykeen! it's singpost $21+ and the remaining goes is US to SG.

nexus 5 pricing to stabilize definitely means for local sellers. i'm aware Google pricing will not change until its nearing end of life.

did u see the sellings in the other thread? fortunately it looks stable, very few carrot choppers now, one "chef" there even selling 800+ for UK set, good luck.

I have received the new phone from Google, but the defect phone is on its way back to United States. So effectively, the entire RMA process is not yet complete.

I am definitely not looking for VIP service. Neither do I expect full insurance coverage for the paltry amount of postage fee. All I am looking for is a reliable postal service that provides accurate and consistent information to consumers/consumers-to-be. My experience with SingPost has been horrendous not simply because SingPost refused to offer full insurance coverage for my registered mail. SingPost provided me with inaccurate and inconsistent information. Package retrieval request (made 30 mins after package was sent) was not promptly followed up, leading to package being dispatched against my request (I offered to pick up the package at the post office branch). When I made a retrieval request, hotline operator assured me that package will be retrieved by the end of the day. Three different hotline operators promised to get their duty managers to give me a call-back by the end of the business day, none did until 3 working days later. Duty manager called to find out the exact situation but unable to provide further assistance.

In the earlier section of your post, you mentioned that “When they guaranteed you 6-8 days for that service, they managed it perfectly well.” and in the later part you said “My phone was sent from SingPost to LG Electronics in under 18 days. It was delivered from 24 June 2013 to July 12 2013.”. Now, I am starting to wonder how long is the estimated delivery time. Perhaps I should get an extension from Google.

Even though our opinions differ, your post did clarify many of my doubts, thank you for sharing!

"When they guaranteed you 6-8 days for that service, they managed it perfectly well.”
This statement should be retracted. I'm in the same **** as you right now. You're not alone.

I think my parcel is lost during the flight to United States. It's 19 days since.

Nov 13 2013 Update: I sent a enquiry to SingPost via their website, they notified me at the phone has arrived on November 8 2013 at US. It took 12 days for it to reach the states. An enquiry with SingPost says that it usually takes 8-14 days for the parcel to arrive in states. Mine is really not on time.

SingPost is really really horrible. But I will still use SingPost for shipping overseas from Singapore.

For those who needs tracking all the way from Singapore to US, and US state to state tracking, then you should go for other freight forwarders like DHL/Fedex/Toll etc.

I want to RMA my set. Thinking of sending it via DHL or FedEx. Dun wan to rely on our fug thup singpost.

My power button seems to be unresponsive, phone is rooted and flash with custom rom.

you want to try those less prominent courier? It was slightly expensive than singpost but fast turnaround time with tracking as well. Apparently they seems to be a sub con of TNT express as I sent some stuffs to china before in june, flight out and china courier was TNT.

Avos Express PL, you can email sameer@avos.com.sg to check.
Based on the fees table he sent me in Jun, 0.5kg to US is abt $29.19 excluding fuel surcharges.

Btw it is based on actual or volumetric weight whichever higher.
