Anyone ever physically at USA and order from Play store with Singapore Credit card and ship to USA address .

As I will be physically at USA at time of sales available but I dont know whether Google Play Store will allow me to buy with my Singapore credit card but ship to my friend's sister place at USA .

In that case, there's a chance of not getting charged GST if we order the USD 299 8GB base model right?

Wait...

USD 299 + assume total shipping costs of USD 50 = USD 349. This is SGD 425 already...

Quite tough.
I have checked and Google charged me 13.99 for 2 day shipping.

299+14=313
Assuming 16 for shipping by CGW, 329.

329*1.23=404 lol.
Just pray USD rate drops to 1.20 haha

the lack of sd support & no LTE are real killers although the pricing is really good and the QI wireless technology is simply awesome!

wondering if anyone has called up LG to ask if they will uphold the warranty if shipping from overseas like what Asus did with the Nexus 7.

but asus covers nexus 7 warranty cause they sell themselves. if we import to use our own then might be tough since there is no international warranty...

Asus covered the warranty of people who imported Nexus 7 from the USA before it was even released in SG.
Perhaps Nexus 4 might have international warranty. pray sia.

8gb like abit not enough now adays...
16gb is the sweet spot.
I rather they have up to 64gb at exorbitant pricing so I can decided whether to be carrot head than for them to tell me : "Here, most you get is 16gb, suck it sucker." :)

I believe they kept the storage low so people will be encouraged to use the Google cloud services.

I don't really care for their excuses. :D More is always better, and it's not like people are not willing to pay. Just look at the 32gb Nexus 7. :(

Maybe they will release one with a bigger storage in the future just like what they did with the nexus 7 by phasing out the 8gb version.
