I noticed a lot of buyers are using Hotspot Shield as a workaround.

But how do you guys know that this VPN service can be trusted?
I mean your credit card information is going through the servers after all.

Dont see this as an issue as secure payment is made via SSL session, which meant end-to-end encryption from your computer to their sever end, regardless with VPN or not.

they put up a red sold out wordings few hours ago but one dude in US said he managed to order a set some three hours after the supposedly said sold new broke out. i guess is a shopping cart glitch or someone happens to cancel their orders. lucky bloke

Dont think it is a glitch. could be some orders were cancelled or rejected as and when Google is processing the orders now due to non-payment or cancellation by customers themselves. The stock is returned to shopping cart.

Those who miss to order last night can try again tonight as there might be more orders being rejected. This is just my guess and do not take my words seriously, but I will try tonight

anyway now already got stockist selling at ebay for mark up 50 - 150USD already!!!

i'm still peeved by the fact that google has an office here but the play store we can't get any hardware from the play store without resorting to VPNs or buyforme and the like.

those who used SG issued visa/mastercard, please update when your purchased is confirmed!!!

That's just the tip of the iceberg. From a screenshot I saw at Android Police, it seems that the Nexus 4 stocks for Australia are actually shipped from Singapore. Imagine that! The stocks are in Singapore and yet we can't buy them.

I really can't understand why this is the case.

BAD NEWS GUYS, I believe this post should be bumped for awareness time to time.

I just got off the phone with LG Mobile Singapore.
They gave me a definite answer that although their Facebook page does mention "Hi *******, LG Singapore would provide servicing for the Nexus 4 even if it is bought from the Google Play store. Thank you."

SERVICING IS NOT EQUAL TO INTERNATIONAL WARRANTY.
Please note that any Nexus 4 handsets that are purchased OUTSIDE of Singapore, are not covered under warranty.

LG Singapore can and will service your phone if necessary, BUT IT WILL BE CHARGEABLE.
Charges are variable.

So please note this before your purchase if you decided to purchase because of the misunderstanding that occurred on facebook.

edit: So i just checked the LG Singapore facebook page again, and somehow words have been changed here and there.
on one post it only mentions servicing, another post mentioned servicing and warranty. gonna call again.

edit2: Well it's 6pm and the call couldn't get through, the guy gave me a definitive NO on LG phones having international warranty.
however i'm looking at facebook posts saying : "the Nexus 4 mobile phones purchased directly from Google Play store will also receive servicing and warranty from LG Singapore."

Hoping for the best, and will try to call back tomorrow.
