You need to use a custom kernel to be able to read the flash drive...

If not you could only use USB mice or keyboards.

The main reason I doubt that is because all the forums claimed it can't supply the voltage.

When my HOX didn't support it previously, at least my usb drive lit up to show there was power.
N4 didn't even light up.
Hence I had reason to believe that it's a hardware issue.

TS states that he's building a rom in conjunction with his kernel to make it work, but whether it actually works is up in the air.

In short, most probably Mach3.2 never read properly anyhow whack.

Really disappointed that there's no OTG.
I've been thinking about selling it all and stick to my HOX.

Although the alternative thinking is that since I have the N7 (+32gb otg), I'll use that for my media consumption and use the N4 to keep just a small collection of music and movies.

That's basically what I'm doing, less Google music and camera shots I basically have no other media inside. But then, I've gotten used to this kind of setup since the GNex days, so it must be harder for those who need more than 12gb of storage.

N7 32gb + 64gb OTG should be sufficient for most video stuff. But I must admit, looking at my wife's TF300 and it's epic storage expandability makes me feel slightly hollow inside.

anyone on M1 have network data issues? especially on H? there is no data going through, only when its on H+ then it starts moving..

Looks like i am not the only one, i tot is my N4 issue.

Enable and disable flight mode, the data will be back.

I'm on starhub and seems ok. does it happen to all location? if not, it could be just a coverage problem at your specific location.

anyone tried this before? they said it smoother than the glass itself. wonder if they really can make a surface smoother than n4's butter smooth glass...

I noticed the wifi reception of the phone shows a lower reception reading compared with the pc sitting besides the phone.

My battery is OK for me. Can last a whole day before needing to charge at night. No videos or surfing, just reading emails, news reports etc.

Pasted the Martin Fields SP. Much better quality than the run of the mill ones.

This phone's reaction is fast.

How to change the clock display on the home screen from analog to digital?

Even after putting the screen to sleep, it will light up once in a while. But no incoming notifications. Is this normal?

What stuff you store on your phone ? Did you do house keeping on your phone.
Try to use cloud storage for your heavy media storage.

I think I'm just a storage ***** lol.
I hardly game nowadays so most files are either music or movies.

I like 720p movies and 320kbps mp3s. Trying my best not to put any flac inside.

On my HTC, I have 12gb in movies and 4gb in music.

I do housekeeping on a weekly basis and clear movies when I'm done. Perhaps I'll have to do it on a daily basis if I end up keeping the N4.

The otg was supposed to help me in this aspect so that I don't need to put so much media in or be near to a pc.

You're comparing the wifi reception of your laptop/desktop with a bigger antenna vs a phone's?

Install any widget with digital clock display and put it on ur homescreen.

It's not normal. Some app is waking ur phone without proper reason.
