I flashed CFX SR2 yesterday and apart from the additional features on UI, etc, the battery drain is surprising good. ROM is generally VG as well. Highly recommended.

It's a little hard to see all the cracked lines because pic was taken at night and the N4 screen is really dark.

Phone was dropped from Sofa arm rest level face down on to floor.
The greatest damage was to the right side although the cracks extended all the way down to the left as well.

I told my brother to use this as a paper weight.:D

mother of screen crack. i wonder how long had he been crying? 3 days 3 nights? i know i would if this happens to me.

Well I think he handled it quite well lol.
Managed to secure a set from a bro here so the pain was over quickly.

I had told him not to use it until he got a cover but he had no choice cos his old phone was dying on him. My set was under lock and key until I got my cover:D
There's just something about this phone that make me very scared if I ever drop it. I never had this feeling with iPhone or my One X. Although that didn't count for much cos I never bought the iPhone 4.

That's probably the main reason I haven't sold my One X yet.

bought clarivue clear screen protector since spigen sgp was out of stock (front+back) at that time. Below is my takes:
- alignment is perfect
- feel smoother and thiner than cheapo screen protector
- easily get scratched like cheapo screen protector

conclusion: not worth it (never tried spigen sgp, but power support is much better althought they don't make one for android device)

I realised the battery performance really do improve after a few charges (1 week + usage).

Does anyone think that their volume rocker plastic piece feels abit flimsy? Try to push it in left and right direction perpendicular to the screen surface, and see what i mean.

It doesn't help that neither of those 2 phones are export sets. :D

Well, There are others that insist on buying themselves and does not want to let ppl "earn profit". =(

Even if don't want to buy also don't reply me that right, sounds a little rude to me.

Well, Good luck waiting for stocks..

Looks like a good deal. I love inductive charging! I bought my charger from a bro here for S$50. Works like a charm after initial issues. There is a sweetspot to place the phone on before charging starts and it didn't help that charger surface is smooth and the Nexus 4's back is smooth as well. So the 2 slid around like *beep*. Problem solved with a simple paper sticker stuck on the charger. Love it that I just need to lay the phone on the charger every night and it charges.

Qi charger for US$35 with free worldwide shipping and 3 months warranty:

$34.87 Qi Inductive Wireless Charger (Large) - US plug / works with Nexus 4, Nokia 920T/820T, and all Qi standard devices at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

What do you guys think? Is it worth buying for the cool factor of inductive charging?

No root, no talk.

Anyway franco reverted all changes back to stock kernel-ish because many users had trouble with data connections dropping. So don't use franco if you were hoping it helps with data.

theres only one version that somehow seems to work pretty well. the data connection still drops but it picks up again much faster than even than stock. try r29. no scientific evidence that its true but the general experience is better imo

Can anyone advise on the rma process back to US? I've just gotta a RMA replacement mail and it states that i'd need to ship it back to LG US.

The letter mentioned that shipping return via UPS is free but i'm assuming that this is valid within US only. If i use UPS or any courier service, what is the destination to be used if i want to utilise the free internal US shipping returns service? Thanks in advance!

I'm always unable to hear the other party on the phone via the headphone jack. Used different headsets using either CITA or OMTP connectors. All failed to work. Even plain old stereo headphones have the same result. Tested on a friend's nexus and all worked fine.

I had a call just a while ago and did not want to reveal that i'm from SG (although they can easily check it out). I informed them to ship my replacement back to comgateway and was told to return my present phone within 21 days starting today.

Maybe you can use fedex / DHL / TNT to ship it to comgateway then ask them ship to Google/LG? or just use them to ship It to LG/Google instead. However, This COST money.
