Because there is no actual SD Card, so the 'SD Card' you're seeing is emulated. Therefore, if you are gonna flash any roms/kernels via Recovery, be sure to download your files into SD Card folders (usually just let it be in the download folder, it shouldn't be very complicated).Noobie question on rootingonce I get my N4 first thing to do is root
What's the install from SDcard thing, when unlocking the bootloader?
Also, what's the difference between kernel & ROMs in layman terms, thanks!
XDA Developers said:A ROM image is a data file that contains information used on a Read Only Memory chip. For our purposes, that means a complete system image of a device. Each Android device has its own ROM image that contains files and code needed to boot the device up and run Android on it. But this is only part of a ROM. A ROM also contains a GUI (graphical user interface), required and useful applications, support files for those applications and the kernel. Let’s have a look at the parts that make a ROM.
The kernel is the main component of most computer operating systems; it is a bridge between applications and the actual data processing done at the hardware level. The kernel's responsibilities include managing the system's resources (the communication between hardware and software components).

If the WiFi is grayish means there is no connection?
But honestly speaking people are going to smack a bumper or a case so the small bumps won't make much difference haha
I am on Starhub and when I had my S3, I had the Wallet app from Starhub that ran in conjuction with my DBS mobile. However this Starhub Wallet app does not support N4 so its NFC is useless here. (Hopefully I'm wrong?)
Good luck trying that on a Nexus connected via MTP/PTP.
Don't need to try, they currently don't accept CCs not issued in US by US financial institutes.........................................going to try and see if google wallet works.
it works on my nexus 7
