do keep a lookout if the set you are getting supports the LTE bands we use in SG (3 & 7).
unless you have no intention of running it on LTE network...........

I've heard mixed things about it. Some say that the FCC specs list for it won't include bands outside of USA, so the nexus 5 may still run it. Well even if it doesn't run 4G here, I'm quite alright with it?

I haven't moved to a 4G plan yet and besides, battery drain won't be so bad with 3G :p

True that, but I rather have a LTE capable one and turn off LTE rather than one that totally cannot run LTE =/

if you plan to stick to the old 12gb plan then it doesn't really matter

I'm intending to? But my plan is up soon and I want to use the recontract to get a new phone and sell it off:p Oh well, I guess you can't have everything.

Question: For those who are intending to buy it from the US (349/399 USD for this is a damn good price), how are you buying it off Google play? The last I tried they didn't accept my Singapore debit card :(

the thing is cannot find free aussie proxy and aussie shipping forwarder service to sg......

This year's nexus? Yea I set everything to my relative's US address. It said there was an error processing the order :S

I shipped nexus 7 from amazon straight to SG. Why need forwarder?

Hahaha now to camp at their website :p

too early to camp now ah.. Keeping fingers cross, hope nexus 5 US got at least band 3, like nexus 7

Speaking of which, does anybody know what conversion rate Google uses? Or just based on the card (e.g. Visa, mastercard)?

Google sells in USD. Hence your credit card's bank will do the conversion.
I'm also camping tonight to see if the N5 goes on sale. Fingers crossed.
