How is an OTA update not "automated"?

OTA updates are rolled out progressively. Just wait if you don't wanna manually update. What's the hurry?

Not that the Google Play edition devices are available in Singapore.

On a side note, there are Google Play editions for HTC, Samsung, LG and Sony now. Next should be Asus already? Haha

Even if they are, ones a phablet the others a tablet. Different market from the Nexus 5.
