need some advise
if the release price is indeed as stated in the leaks, is it worth it to pay 100USD more for extra 16gb storage and 700mAh battery?
If you got the spare cash, sure. But let's wait for the actual announcement instead of murky speculations.

Then you better be mentally prepared....4.4 is very similar to 4.3.... :D
nah its alright for me.. but my GNex is getting slower after the last release

close application cause the app shortcuts on my homescreen to disappear and the reappear again.. machiam all store in page memory and the processor needs time to read it out~:s22:

For me, i would take a wait and see approach.

Anyway, i expects it to be sold out and most of us in SG will only get it like weeks after the US release.

Thus, it is a good waiting time to read the reviews and see whether there is any significant improvement on battery life, as compared to Nexus 4.

Battery life will be a talking point since Nexus 4's batt life was mediorce.

Saw this in the Amazon thread for a "US credit card"
I got it done too, make sure tell them it is for online purchases.

To get a "US credit card" u can try calling up Amex to input your comgateway address as your 2nd billing address. Then u got a American card ;)

Only works if you got an Amex card

Ah u still on GNex ah. Then the speed itself will be a good improvement.

Lack of free ram lah. For all the talk about Android being a capable ram management system, if the hardware is lacking, software also can't do much - not to mention the numerous apps one tends to install and then don't housekeep. :)

Still using gnex also. I feel that the ram management after 4.1.1 is just horrible...

If you can tahan a Gnex, you should be able to tahan a G5 because there isn't much change in size. Even a G4 is smaller than your Gnex.

yah N4 is the same size as my GNex..

jus a thought and pity that the higher end specs can only go to the company's flagship's which by now for most company is a 5" phone..

Unlikely, doesn't make sense that they come out with a n4 LTE, the old version already have LTE in the US. Furthermore it't 1 year old tech already, if they do come out with it, I don't know how much they are going to price it..

Longer battery life? Only workable solution is bigger battery IMO.

Software optimisation only goes so far..
