Guys... how long does it take for google play store to rely confirmation for N5?... when they ship out?..

since i got a friend going to tokyo next week, was thinking if i can deliver to his hotel.

typically 24hrs-48hrs depending on your luck, their processing queue can process some later orders first, then process older orders later.. go figure..

Currently in JP play store states:

"Leaves warehouse by 8th Nov 2013" and the shipping delivery states "2-7 business days"... according to the confirmation received by everyone, seems JP playstore processes orders pretty quickly (or they overestimated demand) so likely it can get shipped out within 48hrs...

so u might want to .. factor in the 2-7 business days it takes for delivery after it is shipped out..

I am wondering those wanting to call Google JP to settle their orders which unfortunately has been put on review, will you be planning to speak in japanese?

I think once your account is place on review by Google USA, you will have to furnish official documents proving your residency right? That's why all the advise had been to avoid using your own Google account for purchases like this, so that if you mess it up, you can still open another account.

I would suggest those having difficulty with Google JP with try another new account with another credit card.

Hi guys. Just wondering what CC did you guys used to order the N5. I've used my Standard Charted CC, but have yet to receive the confirmation order email.

Again, wait for 24-48 hours for the status update. Now, if you're calling with the bank ask to verify if my transaction went through on this merchant?

CSO should replied that it was successful transaction and went through on their system.

Note, Google only charged you once the item has been shipped. The transaction yes given it was succesful and went through on their system but the merchant not yet get the money on your card. I'ts like floating transaction for a certaing amount and by the time the item has been shipped then that's the only time the merchant going to get the money in your card.

factors also the exchange rate happen by the time the transaction takes placed and by the time the merchant get the money. It's different thing but just assume the amount more or less it's like the same amount. The exchange rate VISA or Mastercard are the ones dictating on this and not the bank okay. hope it helps..

You wait lo... Even if it comes to SG, expect it to cost more than you ship in and buy direct for the same thing... the last time round N4 took 6mths to reached SG? And it's not even available in major telcos... Only retail stores have them...

I bet telco won't risk sales bringing them in since they won't sell like s4 or note 3...

Different people have different views on it I suppose..

The traffic light should get their HSPA right instead imo, GPRS is faster than HSPA in the damned tunnels, talk about getting their priorities right.

They can always slow your data connection down till you can no longer take it...

Just saw the first transaction posted to my maybank cc

This is for 2x 16gb. So previous estimations on exchange rate seem to be way off as I was using Google to convert the exchange rate.

Actually is subjective, when you are at areas without 4G connection or not weak connection, your phone will switch to 3G and 2G accordingly...
