Lucky! I don't quite understand how some get charged with GST while others don't. Like for example, I had ordered the Chromecast from Amazon when it first released (kiasu.. I know ). But I did not get charged for GST via DHL.

GST only incurred if > SGD 400.

I submitted my driving license, with some details censored (like my photo, nric no, etc)

All they want is a proof of u residing in the destination country.

Is that fine? Cos I read that they need dob, and address as well, which I thought driving license does not have

With a customized launcher, you should be able to.

But on Android, people customize the home screens instead of the app drawer.

I have experienced the same thing. I kept telling people that the app drawer is like the Start Menu in windows, while the home screen is like the desktop where all the shortcuts are.

However, there are still some people who prefer the app drawer, just as some people who prefer start menu (like me initially). I personally use Nova Launcher, before switching to Action Launcher. I find that curating the entire app drawer in Nova Launcher is a nuisance as your app list gets longer. Plus, the hidden widget feature of Action Launcher is awesome!

Anyway, mine shipped yesterday... Hoping for a speedy EMS shipping

US version (D820), the 3G will work in singapore but LTE will not work

This is because singapore uses LTE band 3 & 7, and the US version does not support any.

So if you are ok with 3G then get the US version since it is cheaper,
otherwise the cheapest place to get the International version (D821) is from Japan

Getting from AU is still cheaper than JP if you got people to bring it to SG for you. Even with shipping, still about the same as from JP.
