Yes. The challenge for me now is remain real stock. I'm kinda successful already. There's always an app that would not need root. One example is Helium (replace my need of Titanium Backup).

The only reason why I am rooted is because of the Sixaxis controller pairing app, which I found no reasonable replacement yet. Should I free my mindset of this (as very rarely I game), I will definitely unroot.

Haha. Yeah, helium does a great job too.
I Guess the reason for me to remain rooted is for the useful stuff like quick toggles, status bar, custom icons etc.

As well as ever so slightly trying to get the best out of my battery by flashing kernels.

I'm just about to flash slimkat 2.6!

I'm purely stock, and happy to be so. Haha to lazy to tinker around these days.

Nexus 6 rumour surface with Lenovo name hovering over it..

I guess

Lenovo bought Motorola, google throw in free gift.

i don't know how much truth is the lenovo making the next nexus phone.

but like the guy in the video said, "i hope it sticks around" ..... it's sad to see this line go and be replaced by those "google edition" phones that cost the same as the non contract variants.

Do your homework first before asking these kind of repetitive & generic questions. There is Google and a search function here.

the battery drain when screen off a bit too high. not really sure it was like this in the past. didn't really install anything that I can think will cause this.

Got warranty meh in the first place here?

He meant international warranty. You can always wipe, unroot and re-lock the bootloader. It will be as good as new, software wise.

Search xda forums and youtube, plenty of tutorials.

Yes! Same!

I experienced horrible battery draining after I updated the Google Play services, like 4-6% every 2-4mins when screen is on. At night when I went bed, it was 67%, when I woke up, it was near 18% only.

After that I uninstalled and roll-back the Google Play services to factory version. Battery life improved back to the usual usage. Not sure if it's the same problem with you guys.
