In that case, I spend most of the time in office, so I normally reach my work desk with phone at about 15% left, then leave it connected to the usb port of my laptop to charge that way (iirc, output from usb ports are low right?) It usually hits close to 100% by about 3pm then I take it off. Plan to only use charger at home on weekends.

slow charge should be fine.

me is dun charge at home. go back office use 2A charger to charge.

unless off days then bo bian

those bros using the Livedock find it useful? looks shiok to be able to hook up a wireless keyboard and mouse but then again... the batt life will be even shorter if i start running browser and officesuite etc which called for the mouse and kb in the first place.

The reason for the protector is to make the whole phone more sleek, so as to merge with the whole overall design.

As for battery life, yes, it's a bit of turning off, considering my previous IP4s last a bit longer. This is what i discover btw my IP4s and this XS, for IP4s, when you never use, it won't drop much or at all. But once you start using, that's when the battery draining appear. For the XS, i notice they drop power even during idle, but it's more constance thru out.

Smartphones nowadays are battery hunger eaters. No choice, we have to live with it.

i use the battery saver app set timer 1am to 8am b/g data transfer, wifi everything off and switched off screen. batt was reasonably ok after a night's sleep.

Battery Life

Hi !

Just bought Xperia S and found that the battery life couldn't last 12 hours. Installed task killer. Other than the default sony and android services, only 3G is running.

Are you experiencing this as well? My old phone is a HTC Desire and easily lasts more than 12 hours.

Any ideas to improve battery life? Thanks much !

What did you use on your phone? Im always amazed how people can flat out their phone battery in less than half a day. :D
