After upgrading to ICS, I find the only way to enter chinese is to select the default keyboard as chinese. But this means everytime it will default to chinese. To enter english you need to press a button. Is there a way to get around this? Using the default keyboard press and hold the text field doesn't show other languages option.

My album sometime won't update by itself... Any of u having same problem? Like I download some pic but not in album... Only can access thru quickpic..

Keyboard options are present on the menu bar whenever you activate text input.

When you press on a text field, there is a small keyboard icon on the top left of the notification bar. You can use that to change keyboards.

If you are on a webpage, just long-press and you will see two funny-shaped thingeys appearing. There will also be a toolbar appearing right on top. The copy icon is the one that looks like two overlapping documents. Just moved the thingeys to select the portion of text that you want to copy. The highlighted text will be in blue. Then press the copy icon to copy the text.

She doesnt want to root the phone.

Looks like she will have to live with it until she decided to change phone.

I found an answer on sony forum.

1. Turn off automatic update.

2. Go to Menu> Settings> Applications > Manage applications > All > Update Center > Clear data.
This will clear data for update center.

Try it & see if it works.

That firmware has just been certified. It takes weeks after certification, before the firmware will be released. In some instances, a certified firmware might not even be released.

i dont see the two thingy leh. when i long press, i only see the blue arrow at the bottom near the text i just typed
also in some apps, the copy/paste not available is it?
