I agree.... I look at the SII screen, I look at the Arc S screen... still prefer Arc.... even the phone..... like holding the Arc compare to SII.....

But hows the phone..... since its not "Dual Core" or whatever, will running apps and watching movie lag... or the phone lag??? Hows the battery life??

I think amoled screen is overhyped. Just because its different from normal does not always means its better. Amoled screen is brighter & have more contrast, but its oversaturated colors turn me off & it eats battery quicker on white colors.

All phones lag in one way or another. SE have made good software for the arc/arc s with minimum lags, rarely stutter when switching between apps.

Battery life is good, last more than a day for moderate use. Except for heavy gaming/3g browsing/video playing/camera, expect it to last less than a day.

Only ICS update will answer whether dual core/quad core(future models) is really necessary for smooth usage of phone.

Great quality but looks like there is no video stabilizer.

I'm with a Iphone 4 now, thinking of selling it and buy a S2 or Note, but i don't enjoy S2 design and screen, and Note seems too big.. If only this Xperia S is already here...

I would love the Xperia Ion too but it seems like we won't be getting it. I hope the Xperia S makes it in time for the March IT show.

Btw, any idea of the likely pricing? How much did the Arc S cost with a contract when it first launched?

Based on my experiences with both Rachael and Arc in the past 2 years, I doubt you'll catch it on the IT show. Though you might be able to preorder it there.

Well hope this time Sony can surprise us by not having it out on April like the 2 former phones.

Actually my concern is when phone ring. Ring tone easily get muffled like that~ As for flipping it around, easily scratch screen or itz bezzle leh =(

Haizz, the arc design still better, at least curved so when put on a flat surface won't get muffled =(
