Guys Do you all know the display for the sony S phone ? On par with amoled display ? Coz i'm struggling to made up my mind to change my htc one x to sony s not And the speed HSDPA, 14.4 Mbps is it fast ?!

The One X have better color but the XS is sharper. Color wise lose out to the one X. Sharpness wise XS wins hand down. Moreover, OneX is quad.

IPS LCD tuned with an extremely wide colour gamut actually

It doesn't suffer from colour banding too from what I saw, esp. when compared to AMOLED screens

Happy waiting for ICS. I do wonder if new software will fix heating issues when playing games. I was worried with the high temperature that I often stop gaming to let my phone cool down.

Fix heating issue? Very unlikely. Though what i'm concerned about is that the heat is coming from the upper part of the phone where the camera resides. Dunno if long term exposed to heat the camera will kenna affected or not.

doublty the software iwil be able to tweak

this is not a desktop computer with heatsink and fan lor
maybe they can try optimuze the software somehow in theory maybe dont try to on brightness too high?

Or maybe because xs is running on 1.5ghz. I have been playing same game on my tablet which runs on 1ghz & the temperature hover around 30+ c while xs temperature hovers around 40+ c.

I think I can dc it to maybe 1ghz when there is locked bootloader root & see if it helps.

The tablets have a larger heat dissipation area, whereas phones have puny little heatsinks in them

So bigger is better.

I hope future designs put more emphasis on heat dissipation.

I think most of the phone in the market do heat up easily. So I don't think they can fix it through a firmware update.

hmmm...i realised when my phone is in off mode, the alarm just won't ring.

anyone know wether is there a quick way to adjust ringer volume while 3.5mm cable is plugged in other than having to unplug and adjust? sometimes i blast songs on earpiece or speaker and get shocked by my sms tone
