Probably same case as mine a couple f weeks ago.

If it's really the same, something is wrong with the software. Take it down to the service center they'll help flash your Nozomi. If it works, then ok. If not they'll do further diagnostics.

Hope your Nozomi recovers soon~!!

By the way, since your data will be lost anyway, it's a good time to change your LCD if you happen to kena the yellow tint issue =D

Have you tried to do a hard reset by holding onto the power button and the volume up button at the same time? That might revive the phone.

Mine took 5 working days. Hurhurhur.

Yah like Hush asked, did you try the button reset first? If that doesn't work too then it's really most likely like the problem I experienced.

Which part do you not understand? The rooting part or the font-changing part? For the latter, just install one of the numerous font changer apps available in the Market.

Thinking to upgrading my neo to XS. Is the root method the same like Xperia 2011?

No, it's not the same method. There is currently no easy one-click root method for the Xperia S (like the one for Xperia 2011 phones). Rooting the Xperia S involves unlocking the bootloader (thereby voiding warranty), and then either flashing a pre-rooted stock kernel or custom kernel (with root access).

Please see my above reply for what rooting currently entails. In particular, you will void your warranty. Are you prepared to do so, just so that you can change the font?

Oh ok. I'll wait for a root without unlocking bootloader first then..

The latest update .75 really do wonders to my phone. The capacitive buttons are definitely more responsive, as previously near the edge of the phone for both back & menu buttons are not able to register touches very well.
