Quick update after few days of use.
2 days ago, noticed a "patch" in center of screen when screen is off.
But from yesterday, and so far today, it does not appear anymore.
Can't do anything about the patch.
Also, the 4 edges of the TG is kind of sticky, so it's like just these 4 edges holding the whole TG to the screen. Don't see the effect where screen "mounts" onto the screen from top to bottom.

One other recommendation when ordering...
I noticed there's an option to ship via Ninjavan.
For anything under 1kg, its only RMB26! I believe this is cheapest I could find, and direct delivery to your home!

No way around it, all the TGSP have these rainbow thing. Sometimes it will appear regardless of screen status - get used to it.

But that makes it no different from the much cheaper variants out there, so no point paying more for this.

And it will be another game of cat and mice with Google. Don't use android pay anyway and don't find any much root apps other than greenify that is useful, might go back to stock in future.

I'm on oos 4.02, got magisk to work and I can use both android pay and play pokemon.

Followed the instructions from here https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=70715034&postcount=127

But omitted the steps for custom kernel (using stock)

Just got the 128gb 3t, I'm amazed by the phone speed. Such a beast man but unsure whether I should root it just for adaway. Read that there are some issues with twrp and rooting nougat.

Anyone have any issues?

Dun root lah...these days less and less reasons to root. All those root blocking apps are just waiting to be outwitted only.

Yes i agree. Hope that 7.1.1 will be out soon and it can mirror the 28ms input touch on the pixel.

Wanted to install adaway to block those irritating in app ads, using dns66 now which is a hit and run for some apps. I
