S8 anytime. The design wins hands down.
But the UI experience is not good. I used it for a month and sold it.

Unless you are staying in US, i think we should compare it with SG pricing since we are all using it in SG
Lazada is OP official channel into SG? Or is it 3rd party retailers that flash oxygen os from their china variant?
Sure, but OP does not sell OP5 in SG. It's very obvious getting export set is not the best way if pricing and warranty are important. Ppl who get and use export set devices won't compare them this way. A good example = Pixel.

Was official (direct from OP) for OP2 and OP3, not OP3T.
then what will be a good way to compare?

Chances of that being export sets are 99%. Lazada could just be working with third party resellers to sell the phone on their site. Lazada do this type of banner for export sets too, like when the Google Pixel came out for example. Having that banner doesn't mean it's official OnePlus selling their products here. Oneplus local facebook page hasn't been updated in almost a year. lol.![]()
Can't tell from the banner, unless it's specifically stated that it will come with local warranty, otherwise that will be for export set. Wait till avail then will know. It's just Lazada marketing.
Can't compare if just based on pricing. Pixel was more ex than S7, yet ppl still bought and use. Another example, OP3T is still around $500-$600. We do not compare it with another phone, say G6 around $650 now, because if ppl want to get OP3T, they will just get and use. The best example will be your example, as you mentioned and I quote, "But the UI experience is not good. I used it for a month and sold it.". Even though S8 is cheaper, you will not get it again since you don't like it.
Gadget world at jurong point. But have to email Oneplus 1stWait, the OPO3 sold by Lazada direct previously, if spoil go where service?

Sent from Xiaomi REDMI NOTE 4X MIKU EDITION using GAGT
It might not be 100% accurate, but from what I recall the official distribution was handled by a company called Mercantile Pacific? For a while they had a service location at The Central, then moved to their own office near Tai Seng there? Then i think maybe partnership fell through or what. After that you had to like email them first and then get it replaced at Gadgetworld Jurong Point? Not sure if now still the same. lol.![]()
Wtf, change so many times? I guess this is the reason why some people hesitant to buy.
Local support has been non existant.
I rather buy from expansys.

How reliable is expansys?
Quite reliable I won't say. I bought my OP3 from them and the shipping was fast considering they are based in china or hk.
