Anyone facing NFC issues with the OnePlus 5? I can't get Android Pay to work at the MRT topup machine. Neither can the FlashPay app read my Flashpay card. I am on Oxygen OS 4.5.7.

You can't use flashpay.. you've to use it a contactless credit card, paywave or paypass. Flashpay is a NETS function not something Android pay supports. Plus I've been using Android pay ALOT.. works great :s13:

The good thing with Nexus phones are the custom ROMs. You should unlock the bootloader and flash some custom ROMs, sd810 has quite a few problems to boot but slow is not what I've encountered. Also prepare your wife in case of boot loop. Backup before it's too late plus there is currently a "sorta" workaround but you need to at least enable OEM unlock in developer option before boot loop hits

Nvm she switched to mi5s plus and now OP5 alr :D

Correct. Anyway, I finally managed to get the OP5 to read the FlashPay card using the FlashPay app, and my credit cards with NFC Tools liao. I thought I must put the sensor (near the camera) over the centre of the card, but actually it has to be almost aligned to the top right corner.

Also managed to pair to a Bluetooth speaker via NFC. Now to find a place to try Android Pay without holding up a queue and looking stupid.:s13:

I cannot read ez link card on mine. But can do android beam no problem :s22:

The entire NFC thingy like quite complicated leh

Ezlink is using different protocol, outdated protocol. However, it should be able to read flashpay or other co-branded ezlink cards, since they are using newer NFC protocol.

Many places to try really, mcd, starbucks, coffee bean, fairprice, 7/11, etc, wherever you see paywave terminal.

Wow the new update really boosted my wifi.

My downstream used to be limited to 170 to 180mbps for some reason while upstream runs full speed but now both can hit full speed on speedtest

Did you receive the latest update via OTA? I still haven't received mine.

Use the search next time. Quoting my post:
