Has anyone bought from this brand/local store bestperfume.store? He seems to have good reviews on carousell, specialising in making clones.

For anyone interested, there are plenty of resource online where you can readup on how to DIY perfume
e.g. https://basenotes.com/threads/welcome-new-at-diy-fragrance-members-read-this-first.393147/

As for this bestperfume seller on carousell, i browsed through his listings before. His clone offerings are all those common designer fragrances. Nothing niche or exotic. His price of $35 per 100ml bottle or 3 bottles for $90 is decently cheap though, quality and performance notwithstanding. However, i much rather trust and get clones from those established middle eastern clones houses.

Yeah it's pretty cheap so was wondering about performance... At the same time it's $30+ so gotta manage expectations too haha

If you can find other clone houses like armaf, lattafa for the clone you want, they can be at around the same price. Probably better performance as well.

LOL......just checked his acct again and noticed his prices went up to $40 per bottle, making it even less attractive of a proposition considering the OG of his clones like Mont Blanc Legend, Paco Rabanne 1 million and Versace Eros are easily available designer fragrances that really don't cost that much more.

Using it and i like it. Tried testing those so call clones and non smell the same or even close so i think if got budget no need waste time trying others. Wait for Tang's sales and grab it. Apparently they r really fast moving and sell out real fast.

Went for a walkabout looking for perfume stuff.

Jasina, been at least 2 years since i last step foot into the place. They have brought in quite a large collection of non-armaf/afnan clone brands e.g. lattafa, swiss arabian. But the prices are kinda meh. I can easily get the same at $5-10 cheaper from shopee malaysian sellers.

Mustafa, mostly older stuff. They don't seem to be carrying any newer 21-22 frag releases. Surprisingly, they have Azzaro wanted by night for sale at $65, of which i couldn't really find being sold at other local perfume shops or departmental stores. Next, they are selling V&R Spicebomb @ $75 and Spicebomb Night Vision @ $72 which is a stupid good deal considering these are going for $90+ elsewhere. Shame they do not have the extreme version for sale.

Beautylanguage, recently been visiting their outlets to test out fragrances. Their standout promo currently is D&G The One EDP @ $88. They also have Franck Olivier Blue Touch (much hyped Acqua Di Gio clone) for sale @ $49.90 where usual price is $68. Yeah.....i know its cheaper on FragranceX which is selling at around $30+ after conversion but don't need to deal with stupid long shipping times.

For me I prefer to buy perfume at boutique. Only use Dior sauvage and Dior Homme line. Not keen in others or buying elsewhere even though the price may be cheaper.

neither keen in similar scents. I just like to buy from boutique.

You should try Xerjoff at Takashimaya.

Same level different building
Mustafa floor plan

Entrances 3 and 4 are separated by a small road.

Basically the moment you enter through entrance 4 you will immediately see the newer section. As for the older section, it might be harder to find as its right at the edge and last row shelves obscured by the shampoo/cosmetic section.

The more pricy and niche stuff are found at the newer section. Previously when i was there, i saw a small selection of Creed, Tom Ford and Penhaligon but these are locked in display cabinets so no testing LOL.

Got to be extra careful when shopping at mustafa for perfume stuff. They seem to just dump everything from regular perfume, deodorant spray, deodorant stick, perfume oil together and some of these packaging look so damn similar you wont notice unless you read the wordings.

Just yesterday went down and wanted to get Versace Man Eau Fraiche EDT. Saw it on the shelves, picked it up and was queuing to make payment. The Q was quite long so i was checking the box for production date and expiry. Just as well i did because i saw the words "Perfumed Deodorant" on the box instead of normal EDT. Went back to the shelves and saw that the EDT box is exact same color and design.
