If firmware related issues, go cs can get prob set solve for free?

If FW, high chance they will reformat the device and check if persist. If still persist they will reload the entire firmware and try again.

So tried a Factory reset?

That day I manually checked for updates, server lagged and I exited out, restart phone and got the prompt. When I connected to WiFi and check updates again, it was gone loh....

Hi guys, i dislike being the bearer of bad news.. I've just been informed by Samsung that the nougat update is just pushed back to mid may now. They have ran into issies that require redevelopment to meet a set of requirements

Like i said, it could be they are prioritizing for the S8/S8+ red tint firmware resolution first, then push for the Note 5 Nougat upgrade later

Any issues with the S8/S8+ have to be solved first as this is the latest flagship and any faults will impact sales

So i'm not surprised if the Note 5 nougat update gets pushed even more if more things must be done for the S8/S8+

From what I'm told by the software manager.. N5 failed some requirements.

Also note that software dev all runs concurrently and not separately for security updates. There are always a lot of FW being pointed out everyday for a lot of different devices.

A good way to see this is via this Twitter..

better to delay update than to push the irreversible update and screw people up with problems imo, samsung has been screwing up firmware updates since dunno when

At least you understand.

Also note that NO other device with the model SM-N920I for the Note 5 has received Nougat yet. The country with model SM-N920I are AUS, NZ, Fuji, Papua New Guinea and Singapore

It's quite laughable that they said last time they are reducing their portfolio and yet still so many devices. Guess reducing it was more of "we can't handle ****" rather than saying it's good for us lol. They seriously should have a dedicated team for flagships and the rest for other devices.

Well, i've also been rather forgiving cos of their hardware. Seriously, that's what is still saving them from people moving to other brands. Oh yeah also, some brands has been screwing themselves too so that gave Samsung a breather too.

I using. tested again, deleted device and reconnected, no prob here. Maybe update your pc & phone apps, use cable first if u using wifi. no need key in passkey, got show passkey prompt on both pc and phone, just click ok on both and viola!

Eh!! Ok i delete from app and try again PC one updated tot can work and still can't and the one on my phone doesn't ask for passkey so i think that could be the issue. Tried with cable also same thing.

Weird. If passkey don't need to type then why ask for it lol
