Wow! Grace UI has been rolled out to Note 5 users in South Korea....

https://goo.gl/HdeQIq
Samsung is quietly rolling out an update for its Galaxy Note 5 phone in South Korea, which includes the Grace UI used on the Galaxy Note 7.

Let's hope it comes to Singapore soon....

Looks cool ! Better than nothing.

Dropped my note 5 30cm on a hard surface from my pant pocket when squatting, temperd front no prob, rear bottom impact area minor crack. Damn cake sim now, deciding whether to replace at service centre or not. If replace rear glass only will roughly cost how much?

I see so long and wonder why you drop your phone and your sim got cake. Not sure how much is back. I think should be cheap, heard back is not gorilla glass?

[BraveCloudy]

If there's not need to fix then use a back cover and save the money

[BraveCloudy]

Anyone knows how to disable the text from screenwrite

Everytime I use air command to screenshot a website and sic the screenshot into a whatapp group chat, it always read the text and then appear as a text message under description

How do I prevent this from happening everytime i screenshot from air command? Very irritating everytime must select all and then delete before sharing the image

by right must go through samsung service centre
by left go ahbeng shop maybe have spare part

but sometimes the battery itself may not be the problem
sometimes its the motherboard short circuit or maybe just that marshmallow damn memory hogging

[BraveCloudy]

better don't go ah beng shop, want go go Samsung shop.
speaking of which, I think I want to go Samsung shop to replace my Samsung Galaxy Gear battery.

Roughly know how much the battery cost?

Try iRepair at Prinsep Street. They're very reliable.

Here's a heads up for those who's searching info on battery/port replacement.
Went to SC at Plaza Singapura with the intention of:
1. Replacing the battery.
2. Replacing the charging port.

here's the price breakdown (quoted&estimate) :
- Evaluation Fee (with GST) $32.10.
- Battery replacement $94
- Charging port + Screen $314

Notes:
Evaluation fee is a must and paid upfront, even though you specifically ask certain parts to be replaced without evaluation.

The price quoted for changing the port was quite shocking, they insisted that the port is connected with the display sub-motherboard and must be replaced as 1 set.

Replacement of parts will be confirmed first before they replace it.
So I am still waiting for a call from them.
