Phonearena:Galaxy Note5 battery life benchmark: Outperforms the Note 4 despite smaller battery

http://www.phonearena.com/news/Gala...ms-the-Note-4-despite-smaller-battery_id72735

But not entirely surprising though. Having use the S6's Exynos 7420, the chipset is pretty decent when it comes to power consumption when using the phone. But it's the standby drain that kills it.

they should have just maintained the battery capacity of the note 4, lots of people would be much happier man

Gotta say I'm really enjoying the note 5. Don't have to second guess if my battery will run flat etc. Flat to full in 2hrs on a 2.0a charger (non qc). Zippy phone....haven't really noticed any lag yet too.

Only downside is no memory expansion.....knn Samsung...lol.

BTW for all the note fans, I saw a colleague taking notes feverishly using her older note phone and stylus, and that's when I realised, my goodness, the stylus is really a good thing to have!

cos me and my other colleagues were taking notes on our physical note pad lol

do i buy or do i not. tick tock, contract is up.

I just jumped to G4 from Note 3.

I think it's really depend on what you want.

If u are not concerned about non removable battery and no sd card, the go ahead.

How bout all the people here complaining about the sucky real world usage?

I went from Note 4 to z3+.. The battery life of note 5 is the only thing holding me back from it..
