So excited.. Now updating the phone ^^



Edit - ****.. I forgot to activate the 100gb for onedrive and then did a factory restart after the firmware update.. Wonder if the 100gb activation will still be there ..

Btw, after a factory reset, I was prompted to install samsung Knox.. Is it advisable to do so? (I dont think I will be rooting though).

Edit: No, it doesn't solve the slow wakeup issue..

I did the same thing. I do a clean wipe after I got the phone but the one drive prompt me when I restart the phone.

Slow issue when you press the home or the power button ? If is the home button then might be the way you press. Try to press central

I beg to differ. My Fiio X5 + Fiio E12 ... still sounds better than my n5 + Fiio E12 ^^

lol yea, cowon still better, N5 accents the bass and is still kinda muddy and messy whereas cowon separation is much better

the only thing I don't like is the standby.

I went into settings and Background Data

Disabled everything except my messaging apps, Facebook, Gmail, Google services and Spotify. Now standby is amazing

After standing for half a day playing with note5 and edge+. Finally decided on 64gb black note5. Irresistable. Hope i make the right choice

To me the note 5 is a much better phone than edge+. The s-pen alone is enough. Even both same price I'll still choose note 5. It has a few annoying issue like the slow to wake mentioned earlier, some weird camera quirk which opts for higher than needed exposure when tap to focus, and the battery life could be a bit better if you ask me. But other than that, it's a pretty great phone. Just see the reviews around.

edge+ is more ex than note 5 due to double curved screen.

personally wanted a double curved note (note 4 just that it curves 2 sides) but samsung didnt make it happen... note 5 it shall be for me...

I'm pretty satisfied with the battery given that it's only 3000mah! Easily 4hrs screen time for my usage, more than enough in a single day for me!

Don't worry. It will still be there. In fact it is a menu entry under the settings window of OneDrive.

I know I will regret when/if Samsung introduces the Silver Platinum some time down the road.
Transfering data using Smart Switch now!

No matter if I on or off, it still show me the VoLTE icon. I don't know why also.
