The Sneakers/Shoe Thread

I'm in the same ship brudda, the moment for National Slavery is coming. My first pair of sneakers was back in 2007, the "Mr Shoes" Air Force Ones. Back then the quality of Nikes was still pretty good.

Only grew interest in sneakers recently though. I like how certain shoes tell a story, like Kobe's recent shoe, the Kobe 9s. Ugly as sin in my opinion, but it signifies his road to recovery from his recent achilles injury.

Nice! haha so glad I joined this forums! I have been reading up on sneakers for the past 5 months or so but only recently started thinking of purchasing some! Have some cash from my part time job while waiting for NS haha.

the nicest ones are flamigo, gl 5 grey/purple, bait x asics gl 3 basic 1/4 and the one to its left to me

I gave up on trying to find the older collabs haha still too new to this and can't afford the prices on eBay. Though I would kill to get the st alfreds x asics or the concept x new balance mint 998s! I'll be 19 this year! haha not that young!!

I just turned 21 last December. Repeated a year in Poly, was an idiot back then. I know better now. I don't think I'm that young

I have a brother who owns a sneaker closet of Nikes and Jordans, he owns quite a few pairs from back in the day. You can say it runs in the family

It seems like a good basketball shoe, judging from reviews. The general consensus on them has been that it would look good on court and unsightly off court, and I'm inclined to agree on the latter.

Looks like wrestling boots. And i play basketball leh. Still think it doesn't look like a basketball shoes.

Thinking of waiting for a possible sale on some of the models. There is one on sale now though that is extremely tempting to me. But thinking of waiting for the saucony martini's though..

How about the decision to go with the high cut silhouette?
