I realise many US sites just ask you to choose your shoe size but they don't state if the size is UK or US size. Is it save to assume its US size since its a US site? Also in Uk based sites, they usually have 2 prices for the shoes, one with VAT and the other without. Since I'm shipping the shoe to SG which price do i follow? Just want to make sure before I make any purchases

I think Suarez is one of the few football players that this boot is marketed on. It doesn't look durable though.

Ahh ok. I'm rather confused about the sizing I should order for my shoes. I wear a UK 9 for New Balance, which is a US 9.5 for New balance. But I realise that Asics UK 9 equates to US 10. So should I go for a US 9.5 or US 10 for asics? Like if I dont care about the different conversions and just strictly follow the US sizing, I should be getting a US 9.5 for asics as well, but that'll be half a size smaller thn NB's 9.5s?

It all depends on ur feet though. Whether is is wide feet or normal... To me new balance feels more narrower on the width compare to Asics.

Not meant to be worn for playing soccer, surely not competitively. Once it gets wet, good luck. Your socks will also be wet and extra weight weighing you down. One tackle on you and there goes your boot.

If you mean that they are meant to be worn casually, it would seem weird to do so since the outsole is lined with studs. I doubt that would be comfortable. It has a nice aesthetic to it though, I'll give it that. And similar to the Flyknit series from Nike, it will probably fit nicely on your foot and give you a little extra mobility since it's so light.

But for soccer/football? I don't know, I don't watch and don't play it so I might just be talking out of my ass. But the requirement for explosive movements and the point you raised about it getting wet just makes it seem like the boots will rip apart really quickly.

Would be nice for a soccer boot collection though.

That's what I thought so too and it worked for me. But as ah hui said, it depends on the width of your feet as well.

Yes, after spending so much to get it, it is best kept as a collection. Only a few hundreds of them made.

What most people wear to school or in town, are actually the street soccer version of the original boot, which has minimal technology and design to it. Almost like a take-down version.

Yeah. The common factor of all the things that you mentioned is the surface that those sports are based on. They are all played on concrete surfaces with the exception of indoor basketball which is played on hardwood. It transitions well into casual wear because of that.

If you'd like a soccer-inspired sneaker with all the snazzy technology that can be worn casually, might I suggest the Nike KD VI? It's a basketball sneaker, but the design on the upper is similar to how a soccer boot would look like.

Red ones are pretty nice, but black and white has never been my favourite. I do like Lunarlon midsoles though, I run in a pair of Lunarglide Vs and they're pretty responsive.

It largely depends on the individual. I like the soccer-inspired look of the KD VIs, and the recent Floral release of the model? Me love.
