R :SPH( -5.50), CYL(-0.50), Axis(180)

Age is 34, do you have any recommended Hoya lens. Currently using Hoya as well, but not sure what type as was purchased back in Malaysia( was around ~Rm600). Clueless about the price range over. Any recommendations..

Also out of curiousity..what is the price range of Oliver People and Lindberg here in SG..kinda liking the styles..

Any recommendations for optical shop as well? East side preferably..Sorry for so many noob questions. I'm a Malaysian trapped in SG currently. Lol.

Jamco stocks OP and Lindberg, though not sure if they're the cheapest around

I would suggest going for Hoya sync 3 as they have a free upgrade design going on now. From sync 3 to sync 3 pro which boast
A larger field of view with lesser periphery distortion. At the same time able to relax your eye muscles.
For your prescription you are looking at either 1.6(minimally) and 1.67(max).

OP price range I believe usually range of Low 4(standard Italy design) to high 7(Japanese design) range. Lindbergs are about high 7 to high 8 unless you are referring to the horn series which is about 2.6.

As mentioned by a fellow forumer, east side I would highly recommend Jamco optical. They stock those Brand’s you mentioned and they do have more variety of Brand’s and models too.

Regarding Lenses

Hi,

Stumbled upon this treasure trove of information pertaining to everything spectacles. Based on what I have read so far, it seems that the recommendation would be to go for digital lenses as I am in my late thirties and spend the bulk of my time staring into screens of digital devices.

My prescription:

	Right	Left
Sph	-2.75	-1.00
Cyl	-0.25	-0.25
Axs	110	148

Can you all share the RRP for the following lenses?
1) Hoya Sync 3 with blue control and sensity II
2) Zeiss smart life digital with blue protect and photofusion

What kind of lens would u recommend. I am on computer at least 10hrs a day.

Laohua not severe though... as my eye power not stable.. hope can have something economical if possible.

Would usually advice progressives for daily use for convenience. However, if working on computer for long, you can retain your digital lens. Nikon Relax - Just have to bump up the addition. Most economical. If you want more comfort, opt for digital lenses solely for computer. Just for that purpose.

Hi, I just share my personal experience of wearing Lindberg, I have both acetanium and NOW. I do have Horn and Tintanium (hope I spell correctly). Being a minimalist and weenie, I like Lindberg being light and elegant. I believe it is durable, if wearer is willing to be gentle and taking care of the glasses like many stuffs in life? I have been rotating them for the last 4 years.
Lindberg is able to customise too, it allows you to choose the colours for its frame and temple as well as engraving your name. At least, that is available in the optical shop I visited. But once is decided, you cannot said otherwise as optical shop needs to place order for you and it takes 3-4 weeks for such customisation. Hope it helps.

Yes, as long as the shop carries the Lindberg products, you can choose to customised the frame.
N.O.W are extremely light, comfortable. Durability is fine as long as we don’t place too much impact on the frame.

All of them are equally reliable to be honest. In general I try my best to recommend practices that I know will do their best to serve/guide the customers well without chopping carrot head. But for Jamco you have to make an appt first before going down as they DO NOT accept walk in customers mostly.
