Hi,
You can use mild diluted soap together with running water to clean your glasses and lenses. Also do take note not to air dry your lenses as it will cause water marks.

I am currently 43 yrs old.

R: S-4.00/C-0.50/AX155
L: S:-3.25/C-0.75/AX175
ADD:0.75

My eye power seems not stable especially at night my vision is poorer (eg.seated in car and the road signs not too clear)

What kind of lens would u recommend. I am on computer at least 10hrs a day.

Currently using a Nikon (eyezen type) bought in Japan.

Laohua not severe though... as my eye power not stable.. hope can have something economical if possible.

Hi, Apart from what User Gardens mentioned too.

Based on the age, Add 0.75 might be too low.
I would strongly suggest going into Progressive now.
I would recommend Lens eg. Hoya Lifestyle Series, Essilor Physio 3.0 or Zeiss Precision Plus/Asiana.
East side i would recommend going to First Eyewear centre@East Coast or Jamco@ Katong Shopping center.

ICB,lindberg still alright. But for Mykita... i am just worried after 2-3 years if we need to do tightening of the hinges, the metal fatigue might snap.
I confidently tightened and broke a Not-my-Customer frame before haha. I lightly press against the hinge and then ****, GG. Lucky he was understanding and know it was old.
However if you like the mykita design and dont mind changing frame every 2-3 years then why not. Again, it also boils down to how we handle the frame too!

Not having the newer designs is ok for me as i am looking at something more classic as am intending to use the frames for as long as possible. I will be sure to keep a lookout for IC Berlin and mykita. Temptations! hahahaha...

Thanks for the insight into mykita... looking at online prices for mykita, they seem to be in the same price range as lindbergs and IC berlins, would have expected it to be similar durability. will take this into account when deciding on the frames.

Hey there, it helps to reduce glare from electronic devices..
There is a difference in terms of multicoating among the Brand’s and also the clarity of the lenses.

Dun bother, they are just branding
The big difference is just on the price

I rather u spend on a nice frame, be it quality/brand

Cos its gonna likely last u a good 5-10 years if u maintain it,
Then change the lens as and when u need it

For clarity of single vision,it would be Zeiss then Hoya.
For multicoat it would be Hoya then Zeiss haha…
However it’s best also you can listen to your practitioner advice too.

But after had rectina detachment and recently cateract, now i dun wear specs liao

So my porche design specs totally useless now

It’s subjective(not placebo for sure). There are individuals that prefer quality over price and can feel the difference. You belong to the group(myself included) that don’t feel too much difference between lens brands.

At least a 7-8. But take note, the higher your presbyopia power the more distortion you will have. Just that if you use a higher tier lens, it will be better.

A similar tier and cheaper would be the Mystyle V+ from Hoya. From my fitting experience, *fingers crossed* I had not remake/handled any dissatisfied customer who used Mystyle V+.
1.74 Mystyle v+ would cost 2600 with the blue control.

Or the next best option would be the essilor Xclusive lens. However only certain shops in Singapore can sell the lenses as a specific machine is needed to take some measurements.(not just the panto/wrap only). It would cost 2800 with the blue filter.

2600 for that? Why not just go LASIK.
Like 5k for 2 eyes.
