I think space is the main issue, to have the amount of Colours firstly=amount of pots, some might want gradual tinting and all. Not worth the effort for a shop in Sg... you see most spec shop the sizes, rooms are used either to put stocks in or machines.. hard.. labs in Singapore however have specific rooms for tinting so I guessing it's better? For US I have not been there so I won't know how it works at their end..
Actually tinting is just using a hot pot of water and dye essentially, how come spectacle shops here unlike those in US, where if they have edging machine, most likely they have tint tanks as well

. Also most of the time i am on my PC for more than 10hrs per day due to my work.
