Hi! Hoya does have promo for progressive lenses. Even few months back they have a free upgrade to the highest tier progressive lenses.

Hi, I was at 88 optics yesterday. They told me Hoya is having a 20% off progressive transition and with 50% off 2nd lens. The shop was also willing add on the blue filter free. I think you may try to ask shops if they have their own discounts which I had encounter before too.

Hi. It’s surely cheaper.. But if there’s any issue, then you have to go back msia to service it as shops in spore not obligated to service the lens.

Already gotten my glasses , but am curious about the pricing of lenses(for future reference), do i have to go shop to shop to compare the prices ? Or is the pricing standardized?

That’s sounds good, you can always go shop to shop to compare the prices but sometimes, the practitioners can tell.. so they won’t really give too much out.. but usually they will try to give you the best price.

Yes, and it is better to start early. The later you start with far sighted, the harder is it to get adapted too. People with presbyopia and short sighted usually gets adapted quicker as compared to far sighted..

Smartlife digital lens from Zeiss is one of the better antifatigue/digital lenses in the market.
As the addition power/boost/reading power of the lens maximum is only +1.25, I would term that as early progressive lenses/antifatigue lenses/digital lenses or stepping stone lenses between single vision and progressives.

• Spends most waking hours in front of PC/phone, very sedentary lifestyle
• Some signs of eye fatigue (eyes sometimes lose focus, need to manually 're-focus' eyes like camera lens sometimes)

Yes. There are always some individuals that will take a short transitional period to get used to wearing the antifatigue lenses. Most would be fine immediately or through the first day of wearing.
35 onwards usually the presbyopia will set in..
