Hey!Hi Gangsterkia, out of curiosity, I would like to find up more. Recently, my friend “transited” from myopia to progressive lens. His power for both eyes is around 575 plus some degrees of presbyopia and astig. However, less then 1-2 days of adapting to the progressive lens, he ditched it and went back to his single vision lens. He claimed that “pressure” formed on his head after putting on the progressive lens. Is there any remedy to it? Personally, I feel it would be a waste of 4 digits if the lens become white elephant? Thank you so much.
Oh no, i won’t be able to determine the issue behind my phone screen..
There are many possibilities,
1)frame adjustment causing him not to see through the correct area
2)prescription issue
3)measurement issue-eyepoint being input wrongly
4)Him using the wrong area of the lens to view different distance e.g. using distance portion to read/chin down and using supposed top portion of the lens to see near rather than lower portion..
could his practitioner help him?
