lol i'm a cheap and good person? based on my usage I like swissflex/silhouette
i guess for now

i stress my frames more often than knock into them so softter frames work better for me.

i've been using my glasses for 5-6yrs so i'm hardly the guy to ask

factors which affect your comfort, often is design . not that good materials don't play a pay but design is somewhat more important . .
like say ic berlin , super simple design, a sheet of metal, under normal wearing circumstances. how are you going to break that?

nike spectacle titanium frame paint peeling

Finally went to look@me optical shop at queensway 2nd level to collect my nike spectacle titanium frame with carl zeiss rx lenses but disappointed that some of the paint at the side of the frame, near the spring was peeling off. asked the optician & he said due to friction of folding the frame? Wanted to ask fellow forumers here whether it's true? Does it mean the nike frame is fake? optician promised to ask for replacement with the least peeling off? I accepted it and made full payment but regretted it later, should have insisted on replacement before making full payment?

The paint peel can happen as long as 2 surfaces keep touching each other. Even in mykita frames we can see that

can get replacement but not much of a point, because once you close the legs the paint would get scrap off again

i collect toys , costs a fair bit , sometimes they arrived cracked , but as long as it's a design issue i don't see the need to return it . waste time waste money

design issue , new one also same thing will happen

sometimes i would tell customers, don't tighten the screws too hard . the harder you tighten the faster they wear off

In Australia entire range of crizal uv treatments won certification from cancer council Australia.

On the other hand, prevencia lenses has proven in vitro effectiveness.

U have to read carefully. Preventia is part of crizal range of lenses. Crizal range of lenses are multi coated for anti reflective, UV protection and toughness mainly.

Preventia is an additional coat on top of crizal coat to block blue light.

The cancer council does certify products but it certify products for its UV blocking properties. UV blocking and blue blocking is an entirely different thing.

Blue blocking at this moment is just a theoretical approach.

Exactly la. In vitro means tested in lab. Tested to block blue light. But the effectivity is just a theory.

U show me the results of prevention of disease then. That's how they are marketed. But no randomised clinical trial results.in evidence based medicine, no RCT = theorectical

I know what you are quoting. The use of lenses over retinal cells. That's is an in vitro test. Not a RCT.
