LOL panorama lenses have to be cut by tag heuer only. labs in singapore do not cut these kind of lenses.

the optician has actually brought my Panorama to his lab and check whether they can custom cut it. He said can be done but my degree + astigmatism makes it ugly on the side since panorama lens are wide.

obviously tag heuer will cut the lens best but last time I checked the lens price is 1k which is way too expensive

in my knowledge. Lens blanks do not have sizes big enough for such lenses locally. Mayb it's a overseas lab

Guys~! Just wanna share a good specs shop. The one at KK hospital, just around the food court there =)

Transitional lenses - Its 128 or 168 i think.

Also bought a CK specs there with Full multi coated and 1.6 thickness lenses@ 200 only.

Those of you who's by there for check ups and such, also check out a Polo ralph Lauren half framed black specs at the display glass table nearest to the door there. Damn unique. Just 158 with full coated 1.6 lenses. Regret not buying that though.

lens experts! has anyone own a pair with Drivewear, Transitions VI or similar lenses?

it works in the vehicle!! question is how much $$?

interesting except from the webpage
http://www.drivewearlens.com/home.php?flashchange=8

"Drivewear lenses are capable of sensing and reacting to varying light conditions both outside and behind the windshield of the car.

Drivewear lenses provide glare protection through polarization and enhance and protect vision through photochromics which respond to both visible and UV light."

if you don't ask about in-car usage they won't quote or recommend these lenses right?

I used to do my specs at JB coz the optician was v good with testing n give discounts for branded frames/shades. Alot cheaper than SG. but he resigned and dunno where he is now...

Shall check out the shop at KK, is their testing good? I once went a v bad one. The specs was overpowered n I had headache everytime I wore. In the end had to wear back my old specs. TIA!

Bro,i dunno. They just checked my current spec's deg. Then they just place you in the chairs in the dark room and just assort you with the lens, then you give them feedback. But well, its pretty fast and accurate, seriously never use machine. like damn pro like tat. lol. You go try ar,then you share here.
